Workbooks' service infrastructure is mirrored across multiple Equinix locations. Multiple redundant and independent network connections, redundant uninterruptable power and cooling and 24x7 on-site security and operational support ensure the highest possible levels of reliability and availability.

Extremely high bandwidth interconnections between Workbooks' hardware in these locations replicates data and also supports an actively load-balanced distributed infrastructure which can survive the unlikely loss of any data centre.

Hardware Partner: IBM

World-leader IBM provides Workbooks with all the hardware used in its service delivery. Every device has redundant power supplies connected to diverse sources. Data storage is similarly redundant. Blade technology is used so that service capacity can be increased within minutes of the delivery of new hardware to site; IBM's BladeCenter Remote Management is used to ensure that devices are always operating optimally and to handle any predicted failures before they become problems.
