How to change your browser's language settings

If you use various keyboard shortcuts or key combinations like Alt + Shift + 0, you might have noticed that the format can be different for every user within Workbooks. Many users mistakenly think that this is related to their machine's Region and Language settings or Preferences within Workbooks, when in fact it's your browser's language settings.

Please see details below how to change the language settings in different browsers. If you're using the browser that's not listed below, you should still find the steps useful, because settings location should be similar in other browser too..

Google Chrome

  1. Open the Menu in the top right corner.

  2. Select Settings.

  3. Scroll down and click Show Advanced settings...

  4. Within Languages, click on the Language and input settings' button

  5. Select English (United Kingdom) or Add it to the list if not already there.

  6. Click on Display Google Chrome in this language.

  7. Click Done..

Internet Explorer

  1. Select menu Tools.

  2. Select menu item Internet Options.

  3. Select tab General.

  4. Click button Languages.

  5. Click button Set Language Preferences.

  6. Mark a language e.g. English (United Kingdom) and click OK.

.Opera

  1. Open Menu.

  2. Select menu item Settings.

  3. In the Languages section, click Preferred languages...

  4. Click button Add language.

  5. Select English (United Kingdom) and click Done.

.Please note that you will need to restart your browser for any changes to take effect.
