Default Recipients in Email Templates

External Posted: 2012-02-20 16:47

 Hi

I am setting up a couple of Invoice templates for a [potential] client. I am using the Free Edition. The templates are fine but they insert either John.Cheney@workbooks.com or James.Kay@workbooks.com as the first recipient of the email. These can be deleted but it will be a monumental pain if the users have to remember to do this each time they want to email an invoice to a customer.

Is there anyway of getting rid of these recipients?

Thanks

Ed.

 Hi Ed,

Thanks for your note.  We are aware of the issue and the good news is there is a simple workaround

To explain:

When your database was created it is created by coping a 'Default Database' which contains all default configuration. Unfortunately a few rogue email recipients were added to the default template and when your database was created these were included.  (This problem is now fixed).

It will only effect the first 20 or 30 messages you create, once you create more than 30 emails it will stop picking up the rogue recipients.

I hope this make sense and apologies for any confusion.
