I can see a probability field on an Opportunity record but putting a percentage in here doesn't seem to affect the amount of my Opportunity. How can I change this?

The amount field in a Workbooks Opportunity isn’t linked to the probability field as many of our customers prefer not to use weighted forecasts when looking at the likelihood of closing a deal. If you do want to see a weighted forecast of pipeline Opportunities you can create a report which shows the amount of the Opportunity multiplied by the percentage shown in the probability field.
