Strata Tiles, a leading UK tile provider for the Architect and Design community, has chosen the Workbooks CRM solution to underpin its business interactions and transactions with clients.
With a need to manage a large product book of tiles and stone materials, along with the need to quote, track customer engagements and orders, Workbooks was chosen for its integrated approach and intuitive interface.
Strata Tiles, a previous user of Salesforce.com recognised a need to do more than simple sales process management and like many businesses found CRM had become an isolated sales and marketing tool, instead of tying together the whole company. A need was defined to be able to have a CRM platform that could empower the business to better serve customers and understand the transactions and metrics of its business.
Greg Putt, Customer Service Manager at Strata Tiles commented “We previously used Salesforce.com, but found its adoption with our sales team lacking which caused it to turn into a very expensive database. We rapidly realised we needed more than this to tie the business parts together and deliver more value to the users to encourage use of the system. We looked at several available CRM platforms and after much research identified Workbooks as the most functional and flexible for our business needs. To achieve what Workbooks delivers ‘out of the box’, along with the support offered by their team, from other platforms would have been far more costly and complex.”
Strata Tiles has entered into a multi-year agreement with Workbooks and will use the system to not only manage its product book and pricing schemes, but also to better engage with its clients. Workbooks will allow Strata sales representatives to have increased visibility of product ranges and to ensure accuracy of customer quotes and ordering.
