Is there a way to select multiple people from a view and then schedule a separate activity for each of them all at one time.  I want to schedule a separate phone call for multiple people at one time and not go through each iteration manually.

If I can't do that, what about just being able to tag certain people when looking at a view?

The point being, I want to be able to determine a pre-set group of people to call for the upcoming week or day and don't want to manually enter every phone call.

There are a few different solutions to your question, but it's worth noting that you can't edit individual rows that are listed in a view.  You have to open a record to edit it.

One option is to add a custom date field to the person record.  e.g. "Call on".  You could then set up a view or report with the "Call on" field in the criteria.

Another option is to import activities for the relevant people.  To achieve this you'd first need to identify the people in a report or view.  Ensure you add the person reference field as one of the displayed columns.  Export this view/report as a csv.  Add any necessary columns and values to the CSV e.g. Activity subject Due date etc.  Run an activity import and use the person object reference as a lookup so that the activities are created and linked to the relevant people.

In a month or two we will release the Process Engine.  This could also achieve the same result, but you'll need to re-contact us towards the end of this year if you'd like to discuss that topic.
