Marketing Campaigns

I spent quite a long time entering lots of marketing campaigns but they seem to have disappeared as I can't see them in my list of campaigns and no-one can choose them on a person record.

It sounds like you haven't given the campaigns a status of Active. To correct this, go to the Campaigns Landing Page > All Campaigns where you should see the campaigns you've created.  Open each one and make sure that the Status field is set to Active.
