Editing PDF Templates

External Posted: 2011-08-17 10:26

Hi,

When editing the PDF templates for contracts etc, can I add extra lines to the tables? For example, adding a row for 'Email' into the signature box underneath 'Position'.

Also, If we have additional information in a custom field in the Line Items from our contract which we would like to show on the PDF, can I adjust which columns are shown other than the Unit Price and Start/End Dates?

Thanks

The amendments you describe can indeed be made.  However, our customers often prefer Workbooks to make the template changes for them, because it's quicker and they don't have to learn XSLT (the language used in the XSL template files).

Please see this forum article for a more detailed answer: How can I view and edit a downloaded XSL template file? Which application should I use?

Here is a link to the Modifying Document Templates documentation.

Thanks, how do you download the template in order to edit it?

To download the XSL file click on the filename rather than the name of the template e.g. click on unified.xsl.
