Data not updating through API

I have been using Workbooks API to update the existing opportunities in my workbooks account. But whenever I call the API, it comes back with success and updated fields but when I see in workbooks web interface, it's still old data. I have followed the documentation and also used multiple ways(CURL, REST API) but none is working. Please suggest on this.
