Workbooks.com receives G-Cloud approval for the fifth time running

Type: #PR

Reading, England, 9th June 2014

Workbooks.com, a UK provider of cloud based CRM and business applications, today announced that it has received G-Cloud approval for the fifth time and has yet again been chosen to be included in the government’s list of cloud based IT services.

Workbooks.com has been included on the CloudStore as part of the G-Cloud Framework since its inception and is pleased to have been certified in all 5 releases of the government certification program.

The CloudStore is an online catalogue containing details of cloud suppliers and their services. It aims to make it easier for government departments, local authorities and the wider public sector to select third-party cloud ICT services and enables them to take advantage of the many benefits of cloud based solutions. In order to achieve or retain certification, suppliers must follow a rigorous tendering process.

John Cheney, CEO at Workbooks.com, commented: “We are pleased to have received certification for the fifth time running and feel that it is a testament to the quality and security of our software. It is very encouraging to see that Cloud is a key component of the Government’s ICT strategy. Cloud based solutions provide a much more cost effective way to deliver IT to your business, reducing the need to invest in your own hardware and software.”
