Workbooks.com Soars Over Competition by Being Chosen for Prestigious G-Cloud Programme

Type: #PR

CRM software provider beats hundreds of other applicants

12 March 2012 – Workbooks.com, a web based CRM provider for SMEs, was chosen out of hundreds of applicants to be part of the government’s list of cloud based pre-approved IT services for its new CloudStore.

Workbooks.com is one of only 250 preferred suppliers chosen through a competitive tender process for the government’s G-cloud programme. The aim of the programme is to create transparency for public sector IT services, as well as to make it easier for government organisations to select third-party suppliers.

“As Workbooks.com is a UK-based SME, the government’s decision to support small businesses and enhance the ease of supporting them is a step in the right direction. Since the launch in February, we have already received many requests for more information about our products and are excited by what this programme will bring for Workbooks.com,” said John Cheney, CEO of Workbooks.com.

“Being chosen for the G-Cloud programme is proof that our hard work is paying off and that customer adoption and acceptance of cloud solutions is continuing to grow,” said John Cheney. “Workbooks.com hopes that this new avenue of reaching a larger audience will broaden the awareness of our brand and the public’s knowledge of what we can offer.”

Workbooks.com is a member of Eurocloud in the UK and is continuing to sign a stream of new customers and business partners to its award-winning services.
