Zoho CRM is part of a much broader portfolio of web-based software developed by Zoho Corporation. Their broader portfolio competes with both Microsoft Office and Google Apps and are all developed by different teams, with loose connections between the software. 

As an application vendor Zoho relies extensively on its partners to pick-up the burden of implementing CRM, providing very limited support directly to its customers.  Zoho tends to be used by very small businesses who are looking for a very low cost solution and who don’t mind the risk of not working with a more mainstream CRM solution. The main reasons why customers prefer Workbooks are:
