At Workbooks, we believe that sharing knowledge is crucial to success, and we want you to enjoy using our software to enable you to complete your day-to-day role with ease. Workbooks Wisdom is here to save the day bringing you monthly tips and tricks to enable you to do just that. See below for July’s tips.
- Important Import message
Do not forget the final step! After your Import has finished running and you have spot checked the results, it is important to complete the process and lock in your changes by either approving or rejecting your Import. Leaving Imports at the Waiting Approval stage can cause issues with your data further down the line, as although you may see your records when searching in Workbooks they are not fully integrated.
- How are your records being created or updated?
Import audit – Do you have records that have been created or updated with no audit record? These may have been imported. As of our latest release (4.5), you can now enable auditing for an Import. On the first page of your Import in the Import Details section, you will find a checkbox named Enable Audit. Simply tick this and Workbooks will record all of the data you need, please note that this may slow down your Import.
- Want a free £15 Amazon voucher?
At Workbooks we are proud of the support we provide our customers with. If you agree, and would like to claim a £15 Amazon voucher then why not complete a G2 Crowd review for us? You can do so by following this link. As always, if there is anything you think we can improve on please let us know by emailing us at email@example.com.
- Workbooks and the Flash Player
Although Workbooks itself does not use the Flash Player at all, the platform it is written on can. Some browsers check for this when opening Workbooks and so you may see a message that your Flash Player is out of date. This is nothing to worry about as we don’t use the Flash Player, so feel free to dismiss this message.
Remember, you can find more useful information about all of the Workbooks features on our Knowledge Base.
