Modifying Object References

To modify either the prefix or the numerical ID of an Object Reference, click Start > Configuration > Database > Prefixes & Numbering.
Select the object type you want to modify from the grid on the right-hand side and make whatever changes you require. This will change the prefix on records created after you’ve made the change but any existing records will still use the original prefix.
NOTE: The Prefix can only contain uppercase characters and must be no more than 20 characters in length. Once the ID number has been changed, the value cannot be decreased.
