GatorMail Hard Bounces
If a recipient is unable to receive an email through a GatorMail Mailshot due to the email address not being valid, it is captured in two ways. The first is that an Online Activity of Type “Email Bounce” is created with the Action of “Hard Bounce” which allows for it to be easily Reported on from the Mailshot or Campaign, or filtered on within a Landing Page.
Additionally, this is can captured on the Person or Lead Record under the Email Address Field with a banner of “Email Address Undeliverable”. This can be achieved through creating Field Mappings between Spotler and Workbooks.
Within the Field Mapping section of Spotler on a you will need to create the following Field Mapping on a Person Record:
Then similarly on the Sales Lead Record:
Once these are both setup any Contact Marked as undeliverable in Spotler will have this flag applied to the Person or Lead Record. This information is also available on Landing Pages as well as within Members areas of Mailing Lists and Mailshots under Email Address Undeliverable.
