Navigating WorkBooks after you first login In
Workbooks is designed to be user-friendly and intuitive, with a familiar, Windows-style interface called the Desktop. When you log in, you’ll see your Desktop, along with your Welcome Message (1) and Springboard (2).
- Use the Start button (3) to access your records and navigate to other parts of Workbooks.
- Use the Search icon (4) or the search bar to find records you’re looking for.
- Click the Training Videos shortcut (5) to access our current training videos – these are added to regularly, so remember to check back from time to time.
You may want certain records, reports, or Landing Pages to open automatically when you log in. To do this, use the pushpin icon in the top-right corner of the window. Pinning an item adds it to your Desktop so it opens automatically each time you log in.
To ‘unpin’ an item, click the pushpin again or delete it from the ‘My Pinned Windows’ section in Preferences.
Note
The pinned window will appear in the same position, and in the same size as it was when you initially pinned it.
The Start menu is used to navigate between records and other Workbooks items, such as Dashboards and Reports. For example, selecting Start > People opens the My People Landing Page.
